Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page explains which cookies we use and how to control them.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These keep the website secure and working. They cannot be switched off.
- avs_sid: keeps your session and protects forms from forgery. Deleted when you close the browser.
- avs_consent: remembers your cookie choices for 6 months.
2. Analytics cookies (off by default)
If you allow them, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga to count visits and see which pages are popular. The data is anonymous. These cookies are never set unless you choose to allow them.
3. Marketing cookies (off by default)
We do not currently run advertising cookies. If we add them in future, they will only load after you allow them.
4. Changing your choice
Use the cookie button at the bottom left of any page, or the button, to change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
